Congratulations to Ayana (Room 6), who played rugby league this year for the U9s Porirua Vikings Maroon team. At this year's prizegiving, she was awarded the best attacking player of the year for her team. She worked hard and did extras pre-season and during the season. Your hard work has paid off Ayana. Congratulations to Violet (Room 7), who was awarded the Y5/6 Tomahawk award at the 2025 Wellington Axemen Club Rugby prize giving.
The tomahawk is awarded to a player who runs straight, doesn't shy away from contact and is an integral team member in both attack and defence. Violet is the first girl with her name on the plate! Ka rawe Violet.
