TOUCH SEASON UPDATE:

Last Wednesday, SHCS Jets had their final game of the season vs the Island Bay Cheetahs with the Jets coming away with a WIN 11-4 and wow what a game it was!

The team pulled together for the last game and we had a few team members who scored tries confidently for the first time, kids running around players and playing great off the line defence, plus also an amazing execution of a two person touch split (code name Golden duck) which lead to an amazing try by the White brothers! which was exciting to see!

Player of the day was Kaatia (Room 5), for her amazing sprinting around the defence leading to a couple of tries. Special mention to Dougal (Room 3), for his fresh legs and ability to run and stretch out the defence line and then scoring this amazing try.

Overall season winners:
MVP - Archie (Room 6)  - Mr reliable and great leadership
Best Team Player - Kialani (Room 6) - Being a great team player

The Jets and their Parents and supporters want to say thank you to Nicola and Jared for coaching and organising the team, and speedy recovery coach! -
