Zones of Regulation
Throughout the year, our staff has been supporting our tamariki with ways they can support themselves when things get tricky. Regulation is something that everyone continually works on. Recognising what zone we are in can help us return to a healthy state of mind.
Ideas to flip the mood at home:
- listen to music
- spend time in silence
- have a bubble bath
- take a nap
- play with my pet
- sit outside
- walk barefoot on grass
- breath deeply
