The Ministry of Education have advised of two additional Curriculum days in 2025 to help with Professional Development around the new maths and literacy curriculums. At the Board meeting on 11th September, 30th May (Friday, before King's birthday) and 24th October (Friday before Labour Day) have been confirmed.

Term 1:

30th January (Thursday) - 11th April (Friday)

Public Holidays: Waitangi Day - 6th February (Thursday); Good Friday - 18th April; Easter Monday - 21st April; Easter Tuesday - 22nd April.

Term 2:

28th April (Monday) - 27th June (Friday)

Curriculum Day 1: 30th May (Friday) - No School Day

Public Holidays: Kings Birthday - 2nd June (Monday); Matariki - 20th June (Friday)

Term 3:

14th July (Monday) to 19th September (Friday)

Kahui Ako Day: 1st August (Friday) - No School Day

Term 4:

6th October (Monday) - 15th December (Monday)

Curriculum Day 2: 24th October (Friday) - No School Day

Public Holiday: Labour Day - 27th October (Monday)
