Sacred Heart Ferns (Year 5/6 E) won 4-3 against St Marks. Hard fought game, but we came through with a win. Player of the day was Isabelle (Room 6).

Sacred Heart Ace (Year 7/8 B) Well done Team Ace a good win 21-11 vs Marist Holy Cross. Congratulations to our players of the day: Annibelle (Room 8) and Rezanne (Room 10) for executing the wall defence on the oppositions centre pass. You both did exactly what we asked which resulted in their errors and putting pressure enabling Lupe (Room 9) and Esme (Room 9) to get intercepts. Well done to the whole team for beautiful execution of our set line plays bringing the ball down the court. And huge thanks to the parents and supporters for your help with court duty. We value your contribution to the team.

Sacred Heart Shooting Stars (Year 7/8 C) played CQS: Clyde Quay Kapokapowai and lost 10-13. The Stars played hard and despite clawing back the goals in the 3rd quarter, we couldn’t quite get there for the win. Congrats to Luna (Room 8), for player of the day, who’s been working hard on marking her partner and moving quicker on defence. Special mention to Hannah (Room 9) and Hazel (Room 10) for outstanding defence, getting lots of great intercepts to turn the ball over.
