This week is Tongan Language Week. To all our Sacred Heart Cathedral School families who are of Tongan descent have a wonderful celebration of your Tongan identity and culture. This week in Ako time all of our children learnt about Tongan culture.

We attended the Parish Mass in the Cathedral for the Feast of the Assumption. Staff were so proud of our tamariki - special thanks to whānau who supported us.

We welcome Sheanelle (Room 5) who joined pur school on Monday. We hope you will make the most of your time ar our school and that you make lifelong friends.

Thanks to Judy who helped select candidates to go forward to the Central Zone Speech competition. Thank you Judy we are very grateful.

Thank you for all your kind words and patience as we have been making the big move to the library. All has gone well.

Cathy and Frances have been absolute superstars.
