NETBALL:

First competition game last Saturday for all our netball teams coming off from a 3 week break.

Sacred Heart Angels (Year 5/6 C) played St Francis de Sales Sparks. The Angels won 15-8. Very Gutsy first game back and the Angels gave St Francis a real run for their money and absolutely dominated in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. Player of the day Bella (Room 7) for great mid court play attacking and defensively. Special mention Harper (Room 7). Great work in goal and mid court.

Sacred Heart Ferns (Year 5/6 E) vs Miramar Central Kauri lost 1-15.

Sacred Heart Ace (Year 7/8 B)Good effort, Team Ace for your first game in the A-grade. Although, SWIS won 28 vs 5, you never gave up and always supported each other. Congratulations to our player of the dayD, Rezanne (Room 10), who was often where she needed to be to feed the ball through the mid-court.

Sacred Heart Shooting Stars (Year 7/8 C)  played EBIS Piwakawaka, we won 17-12! Was great to be back on court and the Stars made the most of every minute, working hard on defence and driving the ball towards goal on attack to take the lead by the 2nd quarter. Player of the day went to Sacha Room 9, who played a great game, focused on strong defence, getting great tips and chasing up loose ball.
