BASKETBALL:

Sacred Heart Ruamoko (Year 5/6 Div 1) vs Scots Warriors won 28-18. Player of the day was Jackson (Room 6). It was a great team effort and heartful win!

Sacred Heart Tangaroa (Year 5/6 Div 5) played a strong St Anne's Lakers team and lost 4-27. Although it was hard with only 6 players, the team never gave up and fought to the end. Player of the day was Rebecca (Room 7) with her strong defence and fast pace down the court.

Sacred Heart Tawhirimatea (Year 5/6 Girls) won 24-19 against a strong Seatoun Storm team. Awesome teamwork from the girls on the court and having a go! Player of the day was Harper (Room 7) for her great work taking the ball up court and making some great baskets. Special mention was Kundiso (Room 7) for great defence on the ball.

Sacred Heart Dunkin' Donuts (Year 7/8 Div 6) lost to Brooklyn Dunks but they've put in a lot of team effort to go up and down the court.

Sacred Heart Krispy Kremes (Year 7/8 Div 2) vs St Anne's Knicks. The Krispy Kremes won by default. Player of the day was Andre (Room 9) for his fantastic all round play.

NETBALL:

Sacred Heart Angels (Year 5/6 C) played Seatoun Stars despite the score. It was quite a tough game, 0-10. Player of the day was Bella (Room 7) for great space work on court and getting amongst it all. Special mention to Asu (Room 7) for great goals in goal and communication.

Sacred Heart Ferns (Year 5/6 E) played Brooklyn Fireballs and won 6-3. The girls gave it their all in the rain. Despite a very slippery ball, they came away with a win. Fantastic team play! Player of the day was Maria (Room 7) for her work in defence!

Sacred Heart Ace (Year 7/8 B) vs Brooklyn Vipers was a good win for the team with 20-8. Congratulations to our player of the day Annibelle (Room 8) for her awesome defence getting intercepts and Emily for amazing shooting and giving us a steady hand in Centre bringing the ball down the court. Every player is improving so much each week! Well done!

Sacred Heart Shooting Stars (Year 7/8 C) vs SFDS Flames lost 12-20. The final score doesn't reflect how hard the team worked, only trailing a couple of goals each quarter. Player of the day was awarded to Hazel (Room 10) who worked hard on intercepting the ball or tipping it for the Stars to gain possession.
