NETBALL REGISTRATION:

Thank you for those who have registered for Winter Netball. Teams have now been finalized for this year. We are lucky to have x2 Year 5 & 6 teams and x2 Year 7 & 8 teams.

An email will come out shortly from your coach/manager regarding meet and greet and trainings. First game of the season is Saturday, 4th May.

Netball subs of $85.00 are to be paid into the Parents and Friends Account before the first game please. These subs cover the umpires for the season and the fees for Motu Kairangi. Please see account details below for payment:

SUMMER FOOTBALL:

A tough fought game! Sacred Heart Strikers took the lead but ended up losing 1-2 vs Kelburn Cosmic. Some great sportsmanship shown as well, checking on the opposition to see if they were ok after a tackle. Player of the Day was Charles (Room 7) for awesome all round play. What a season - well done everyone and thanks to Suzanne for all the organising!

Sacred Heart Junior Strikers vs Northland Gems lost 1-2.

The team played so well in their final game of the season, and it was really close game. An awesome goal from Xander (Room 2). Player of the Day was Owen (Room 3) for absolute perseverance in the face of adversity. Also, a correction to last week where Dougal (Room 2) was supposed to be Player of the Day for his awesome Goalie moves. Overall, the team had a tough season after being graded with older teams, but the determination, heart and growing ball skills that the team showed over the whole season did us all proud.
