At Sacred Heart Cathedral School, we have a wonderful staff team who will extract the very best out of students.

Cathy is a super generous person. She is warm and friendly on the end of a text, phone call and email. When a child is not feeling well, Cathy will always reassure and make them feel comfortable. Cathy gives so much of herself to our school and we are so lucky to have her.

Frances has real attention to detail and is very methodical as she works through her to-do list. There is nothing this lady cannot do especially on a Friday when she slips into Cathy's shoes.

Leanne gives our 5-year-olds the very best start to school life. She employs a positive mindset and is very calm under pressure. She communicates clearly with parents putting them at ease.

Sarah has a real knack for building on learning and consolidating when it is required to build confidence. Sarah's passion for the arts is reflected in her classroom with the stunning art students create and the beautiful singing that comes out of Room 2.

Sue oozes creativity she looks at each child as an individual and designs learning that enables students to shine. Sue this year has supported the Board with strategic planning and we as a school value the vision she has for our young people.

Clare is a great multitasker who engages her students with her ability to be explicit with her teaching. Clare explains what students need to know and be able to do. She will back this up with examples and more importantly, she allows students time to practice what they have learned.

Kate is a true collaborator. She will explicitly teach students to work as a team by assigning different roles enabling students to take responsibility for different aspects of tasks. Kate has a passion for the world we live she will do her utmost to ensure that the future generation benefits.

John is an amazing person who actively lives gospel values every time he moves and every time he interacts with others. As a classroom teacher, his calm organised approach allows students to get their teeth into their learning while nurturing them as unique and special individuals.

Julius enjoys teaching new knowledge to students. He encourages students to ask questions that probe further learning. This has been evident in the work he has done with our Pasifika students.

Therese, event management is a real area of strength. Therese can see the big picture instantly and then can break everything down into specific details. Therese will enhance the individual mana of every one of her students. Her natural intelligence is evident in the learning programmes that she has designed in Room.

Hannah has a beautiful heart and will always go the extra mile for her students. Her customer service within her classroom and outside of her classroom always leads to positive results for her students.

Kerry, our super flexible teacher who is confident in teaching at any level of the school. Kerry thrives on giving feedback that is future-focused and improves learning.

Ann who has been on leave this year and has helped us so much at school. Ann always looks out for her colleagues and will take on extra duties to reduce workloads for others.

Sanja is so patient and helps students to understand what they are reading with a great level of confidence.

Alison is so patient and helps students to work through their learning in a way that they understand. She has very green fingers and is responsible for our beautiful gardens.

Rachel covers a lot of classroom ground during the week. She explains learning so students understand thus building confidence and independence.

Robyn makes literature accessible for all of our students. She purchases a range of reading materials that build knowledge and takes students to wonderful places through imagination.

Robyn (ASC) is our After School Care angel. She prepares a yummy afternoon tea, supervises play and helps out with homework and reading.
