Central Zone Athletics:
Congratulations to all our tamariki who competed in Central Zone Athletics yesterday. Everyone was extremely supportive and tried their best. We were so proud of them.
Thank you to all the parents who helped take the children to their events and officiated the relay and shotput. You are all legends!
Results are yet to be finalised but we expect to have them ready for the next newsletter. We will have a number of students competing at Interzone Athletics on Tuesday, 21 November (Week 7).
Touch Rugby:
On a beautiful sunny Wednesday last week, the Sacred Heart Saints played the Te Aro Tui's in the first game of the season. The Saints came away with a win of 3-2! Player of the day was Violet (Room 5) with her amazing try out on the wing and special mention to Jackson (Room 5) with his great skills on the field! Can't forget the rest of the team who also put in the Mahi!
Summer Football:
Junior Summer Soccer started this with the Sacred Heart Strikers. A great start to the season with a winning score of 6-0, and Dougal (Room 3) for player of the day after scoring the first goal of the season on his first ever game!
