Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
We had a wonderful Feast Day on Friday to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart. We started our day with a beautiful liturgy that focussed on our uniqueness as a school. Mr Grevatt put so much thought and effort into making sure that it was meaningful for staff and students. The rest of the day involved fun team-building activities. Thank you also to Mr Solia and our music group who played all of our school songs.
Your children are gorgeous and as a staff, we feel blessed to be a part of their lives.
We have Life Education here this week where the students will be immersed in learning about themselves and their own Wellbeing. Please join us on Thursday afternoon for the parent session down in the Life Ed van.
You come to us in Jesus who teaches us that the way to happiness is through our love for one another. Watch over our staff, students, and whānau of Sacred Heart Cathedral School as we try to be faithful to our teaching. Help us to be a welcoming and joyful community, so that others may come to know your love and peace. Amen.
Have a great week as we head toward Matariki. This time of the year is so important as we gather with friends and whānau. We are given the opportunity to reflect in the past year, and be thankful for what we have in the present as we embrace the future.
