Weekly Update from Bernadette Murfitt
Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
We have had another great week of learning and are super-grateful for all the support we get from you all. It is hard to believe that this coming Sunday will be the 5th Sunday of Lent.
Student goal sheets will come home tomorrow. These goals are a result of data analysis or conversations between teacher and student. I am always in awe of the quality of teaching that happens here at Sacred Heart Cathedral School.

Mayor Whanau's visit on Monday, 20th March. It was a great opportunity for our staff and students to give the Mayor feedback as to how we can make our city a really special place.
Principal of St Mary's School, Andrew Murray, visited our school also on Monday, with a group of Year 9 girls, ex-Sacred Heart students, to talk to our Year 8 girls.
Next week, I am on a delegation with the Catholic Principals to Waitangi. Mr Julius Solia will be the Acting Principal in my absence.
I cannot thank you all enough for the support you give our school. We are all part of something very special.
He toka tū moana he ākinga nā ngā tai.
Steadfast as the rock that scorns the lashing tides.
You are always there for me.
Arohanui,
Bernadette Murfitt
