Dear God,
You come to us in Jesus who teaches us that the way to happiness is through our love for one another.
Watch over the teachers, students and families of Sacred Heart Cathedral School as we try to be faithful to this teaching.
Help us to be a welcoming and joyful community, so that others may come to know your love and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.

This week we have had the star gazing dome in our library. It was so incredible. We wanted to build our students' knowledge of the sky and night sky with a focus on Matariki. Watch out for exciting writing over the next few weeks.
A couple of examples of awesome writing from Eliza and Katalina Room 2 regarding their experience of Stardome:
A special blessing to you all as we all celebrate Matariki and are nourished by our loved ones who have passed (RIP), being fulfilled with the now and making wonderful plans for the future.
See you later at 4pm, Room 9 for our puberty meeting. We will discuss different topics across the different syndicates.

The women you will meet come from a range of life stages and live throughout the Greater Wellington region. We will begin with monthly gatherings on a Saturday afternoon in Lower Hutt with the first scheduled for 27th July. Your children are welcome to come too.
