Weekly Update from Bernadette Murfitt
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
It really has been the year of rescheduling once we are at Alert Level 1 we can confirm a date for the disco. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
This week we celebrate Tongan Language Week.
Special thanks for all your support and positive messages - these certainly fill everyones bucket. Just a reminder that we are in Winter Uniform this term and ties can be purchased from New Zealand Uniforms. School shoes are plain black.
Take care have a great week and rest up in the weekend.
I will leave you with a beautiful Prayer that was shared with the staff at our reflection time this morning.
As we go to work, be with us Lord.
Be the patience when we're frustrated.
Be the endurance when we are tired.
Be the wisdom when we are uncertain.
Be the inspiration when we are out of ideas.
Be the peacemaker when we feel hurt.
Be the comforter when we feel overwhelmed.
Be the energy when we are weary.
Be the guide when we are confused.
Be the forgiver when we get it wrong.
Be with us Lord today.
Arohanui,
Bernadette Murfitt
Principal
Sacred Heart Cathedral School
Dear God,
You come to us in Jesus who teaches us that the way to happiness is through our love for one another.
Watch over the teachers, students and families of Sacred Heart Cathedral School as we try to be faithful to this teaching.
Help us to be a welcoming and joyful community, so that others may come to know your love and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.
