Good evening to you all.
The Prime Minister has announced that Wellington will stay in Alert Level 2 until the 26 August.
This means that at Sacred Heart Cathedral School we will hunker down for the next 12 days and promote all key public health measures. It does mean that we will continue to have drop off and pick up from the gate or if you are coming into school please scan the QR code.
Special thanks to our staff who were well prepared for a change in alert levels with the distribution of hardcopy packs today. The photocopier has been on its very best behaviour this week. We ask that these be put away in case we need them in the future.
We had a beautiful liturgy through zoom today to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption - Mary the Patron Saint of New Zealand.
I will send a zoom link out on Monday for our Whanau hui on Monday at 5pm.
It has been a week of substantive challenge - please take some time for yourself this weekend.
