Paid Union Meeting has been postponed
This meeting has been postponed.
Please be advised that the NZEI have postponed the upcoming paid union meeting for the teachers this Thursday 21 March.
We kicked off Movin March in style with a fancy feet day on Tuesday. The main theme of Movin' March is making sure kids are being active and having fun at the same time.

We are very fortunate to have Mateohorere working with us this year. Special thanks to Ana who organised her aunty to tutor our children in a wonderful form of The Arts which is unique to us all here in Aotearoa.

Student Representation at the Ocean Surf Life Saving Competition at Mount Maunganui
Congratulations to Bella T Rm 8, who participated in the "Oceans 19 " competition.
"There were about 850 competitors aged from 10-13 years old. The diamond event is a swim, board and run which takes about 10 minutes. It was very challenging and very tiring. I was up against big waves which kept pushing me back. I really enjoyed the "Board Race" because I was able to catch the big waves and I didn't have to paddle so far. The weather was warm, Friday was wet and windy and I had great support from my family and local clubs. I am looking forward to participating in this competition in 2020."
Bella T, Room 8

We are still looking for the parent who made a payment of $25.00 on 11 February, with the reference 'CO-OPERATIVE BANK' - if this is you, please let Cathy know either by phone 04 4724047 or email cathy@sacred-heart.school.nz Thank you.
Danielle (Rm 5) has lost her named PE shirt. Please check your child's PE shirt and if found, return to Danielle in Room 5. Thank you.
