Dear Families,

Covid-19 is providing a rapidly changing national situation.  Our primary concern, and that of the government, is the health and well-being of the nation; of Sacred Heart Cathedral School students and staff and all those in the wider community.

The Prime Minister's announcement at 1.30pm today means that from Tuesday 24 March school is closed.  


It is our current understanding that these conditions are in place  at least until the  beginning of the new school term on Tuesday 28 April. If this changes we will let you know.

These are challenging and difficult times for us all.   Thank you again for your feedback, care and concern. Take care of each other in the days ahead and stay in touch.

Teachers will be in touch to provide further guidance about the home learning packs and will be in regular contact with your child.

Please liase directly with your child's teacher if you have any questions about learning.

I will continue to keep you updated with official advice from the Ministry of Education.
