Good afternoon.
I hope everyone has managed a break over the weekend and enjoyed some of our lovely weather. For those families who are isolating I wish you all a very speedy recovery.
This is to confirm that school is open tomorrow, Monday, 7 March for face-to-face learning as well as After School Care. For those students who are isolating or are feeling unwell, your learning will be online via seesaw or google classroom.
If your child has a runny nose, sore throat, sore tummy, loss of appetite or is showing any COVID symptoms please keep them at home and get them tested.
For those children traveling by bus or train:
The NZ Police have confirmed that they will again have a Police/Māori warden presence tomorrow and have suggested that we use the Mulgrave Street route and up into Hawkestone Street and that they will support that route both in the morning and in the afternoon for this week. We can review this as we move through the week.
Buses:
Metlink has confirmed via a Facebook post that the bus interchange has reopened today (6 March). This should mean no more temporary stops now that the bus interchange will be operating again.
For those families who are dropping off by car, Hill Street is now open .
Please note the bottom end of Molesworth Street is still closed to both cars and pedestrians up to the Hill Street intersection.
Thank you again for all your support. Take care, keep well and enjoy the rest of the weekend,
Ngā mihi,
