Kia ora koutou e te whānau,

A warm welcome to Elton and Stella who has started in Room 1. Both of you will have a wonderful time at Sacred Heart Cathedral School and will make lifelong friends.
This morning, Vanessa Gray, Acting Principal St Mary’s College spoke with our Year 8 girls about the opportunities available at St Mary’s College.
Playground blessing - Father Patrick blessed the playground so that all of our tamariki have fun and enjoy positive friendships with each other.

Check out a fun game of benchball played by Room 6.
Please go and look at the second-hand uniform. There is a pile of brand-new bits and pieces as well. Lots and lots of white short and long-sleeved shirts and boys grey shirts and shorts.

Kotahitanga Day on Monday (April 8th)
On Monday, 8th April, we will be holding Kotahitanga Day. We are encouraging students to wear something that represents their culture.
As part of the cultural celebrations, each syndicate will hold a shared morning tea. Students are asked to bring a morning tea item from a culture of significance to them. We have several students with nut allergies across the school, so please avoid using nuts in the items shared.
Please note - if your child has food allergies, we ask that you send them with an item they can eat as well. We will ask students to eat only these items.
Holy Sacrament:
Congratulations to Anna (Room 5) and Maria (Room 7) who made their First Reconciliation last Sunday.
Well done on taking another step in your faith journey.

Owen Vaz (Room 3) has been awarded the Team Player award by Johnsonville Junior Cricket Club at the end of season prize giving for his great contribution to the team during the 2023/2024 cricket season.
