Dear God,
You come to us in Jesus who teaches us that the way to happiness is through our love for one another.
Watch over the teachers, students and families of Sacred Heart Cathedral School as we try to be faithful to this teaching.
Help us to be a welcoming and joyful community, so that others may come to know your love and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.
Weekly Update from Bernadette Murfitt
Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
A special welcome to Kundiso, Room 7 and Trina, Room 2, who started at our school yesterday. You are going to have a wonderful time at our school and will make lifelong friends.
This Sunday, it is Pentecost Sunday. It concludes the Easter season and is 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus. May we all continue to live in hope and grow in faith.
I am looking forward to connecting with our whānau over the next two nights at our Te Ahi Ora Performance. The children have had an absolutely amazing day today including a lunchtime concert.
Take care and keep well during this time when we can experience all four seasons in a day and try and find joy in all that you do.
Have a great week. If you have any concerns at all about your child's learning please reach out to their teacher.
Arohanui,
Bernadette Murfitt
